I was born in Yugoslavia in September 1964 and defined by stars as a perfectionist and a workaholic. Five years later an unfinished drawing of mine from kindergarten was exhibited in the City hall. To my great surprise, the drawing has been completed by my teacher - my first creative director. That was the year when first man soft landed on the Moon while I roughly faced the Earth learning the meaning of some crucial words: Teamwork, Deadline and the most important one: Me-Boss-You-Not. I’ve always been better in drawing than in writing, the kind of man who rather watches things than reads explanations. I didn’ t let my parents put the foot in the door by posing that question: O.K, you wanna be an artist, but what are you gonna do for a living?
During my Architecture studies I found new horizons and my future wife Vera. In 1987 I got my first paid job as a designer at the Technical Student’s Club. Those were the days before Macintosh ruled the Earth, days of xerox, letraset, scissors and drawing ink. After two years I completed my studies and prepared my very first portfolio. I was equipped with just enough confidence to do some interviews and accept my first serious commission. That’s how it all started.
